Christmas in July

I know it is really early, but I thought I may make a start on some Christmas cards.  Mikaela my upline is running a challenge at the moment titled Christmas in July.  This is my entry for the challenge.  I used my first ever stamp set that I ordered from Stampin'Up!. What do you think???

Its a front stepper card made up of 2 pieces of cardstock.

This is what I used:
Stamp Sets - Lovely as a Tree and Better Together
Cardstock - Whisper White and Night of Navy
Inkpads - Fine Tip Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter

Bright and colourful daisies

After feeling rough for a few days I thought that I would pop into the craft room today and try and make a card or two.  Well I managed it.

I got out the Delightful Daisies stamp set and matching punch.  Some colourful cardstock and voila!!!!

Dont you think its lovely and bright. Actually you could do with your sunglasses its that bright.

This is what I used:
Stamp Sets - Delightful Daisies and Here For You
Punch - Daisy Punch
Cardstock - Whisper White, Basic Black, Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise
Inkpads - Basic Black, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight
Other - Basic Black Bakers Twine and Clear Faceted Gems

Oh my lord ...

... how long has it been since I have blogged.  I am sooooo sorry. It is really busy at work already and we are only in the first week of the summer holidays.  It is going to be manic from now until the end of September.   I will do my best to pop in every now and then to show you what I have been up to.

On top of everything, I have been down with the dreaded lurgy.  I feel relatively human today and have gone into the craft room to make a couple of cards.  I will share them with you shortly. XX

Oh no...

... I best get my thinking cap on.  I am going to my team meeting on 13th May and have just found out that I need to make about 25 swaps.  I best find some time to make them aswell.  I think I have got a few hours on Tuesday, so need to make up my mind quite quickly on what I am going to make.

Today

One of the projects made at todays all day craft event in Skegness.

I used a kilner jar, Stampin' Up! Botanical Blooms stamp set, Botanical Builder Framelits, Very Vanilla and Mint Macaron card stock and Blushing Bride and Old Olive ink pads. All attendees had a great time and 4 have already booked their place for the October event. I must be doing something right. XX

I am getting a tad excited now...

...only 4 more days before the All Day Craft event that I am running with Dawn.

We have got some fabulous projects lined up for the people attending.  Plus we will be feeding and watering them too.  Doing a lovely buffet and if I get a chance I will even bake a cake.

Plus, I am already planning another All Day event in October which will be a Christmas event using new products from the new catalogue.  I can't wait to plan the new projects.

New Catalogue

As you are probable aware the new Stampin' Up! catalogue starts on 1 June 2017.  If you would like a copy, they will be available from me for £2.95 plus p&p. The £2.95 will be deducted from your first order over £50 from the new catalogue.  If you would like a new catalogue when it becomes available then message me and I will get one sent out to you.

Dancing in the Moonlight

This must be my favourite card of this year.  It is so simle but stunning.  Unfortunately not my own design.  I did CASE this card from Jenny Hayward.

I am entering this card into the Global Design Team challenge for this week #GDP081.  The brief for this challenge was 

So my card blank and top layer of card are Night of Navy, my mat is Blushing Bride and I have used Whisper White ink to stamp my image and sentiment and to sponge my moon. I used Beautiful You stamp set. Its fast becoming one of my favourites.

I have only just started this blog so there isnt much to see, but do keep popping back as I will be blogging as much as I possibly can.

Going going gone

Going going gone

With the new catalogue starting from 1 June, the retiring list will be announced soon, but, while we wait, it stands to reason that all of the InColors 2015-2017 will retire.  This will includes the cardstock, ink, ribbon and anything featuring these colours such as Designer Series Papers.  It is also usual for ALL Designer Series Papers to retire too.  So this is a bit of a heads up for you, as all the InColor items are nearly always the first to go our of stock and now would be a good time to get your order in!!
